This blend comes from two small coffee counties in Kenya: Nyeri and Embu. The growers are smallholder farmers in local cooperatives that are environmentally sustainable. All of the Coffea plants are grown in volcanic soil that has all of the nutrients the plants need to thrive. The varieties include: SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Banian and are all growing at a high altitude of 1,520-1,690 meters.
