Ethiopian Harrar Coffee

Ethiopia is widely regarded as the birthplace and epicenter of everything coffee. The Harrar region, which is on the country's eastern edge, is known to produce some of the most revered coffee beans in the world. The taste formulated by this coffee is like no other, and is thought to be made unique due to the region's ideal growing climate.

The flavor of Ethiopian Harrar coffee is robust and bold, with a dry fruitiness similar to that found in red wine. It's reminiscent of natural flavors like apricot and blueberry. Much of their unique fruity taste is due to residual flavor from the coffee berries they are derived from. Along with its fruity essence, Harrar coffee has other distinguishable characters of honey, chocolate and hints of jasmine.

Our specialty medium roast Ethiopian Harrar coffee is of the Indigenous Heirloom Cultivar variety. Grown by Kubsitu Cooperative in rich vertosol soil at an altitude of 1,780 meters, it encompasses everything there is to love about the region’s character. All natural and ethically sourced, our coffee is dried on raised beds and sorted by hand. It's the best way to get your daily dose of caffeine, all delivered by the miracles of nature.
